About the event
We hope you'll join us this coming Wednesday, December 8 at 7PM for an exciting virtual parlor event featuring the America-Israel Friendship League (AIFL). Mekudeshet is an arts organization that has received multiple awards. They began with a public festival of the arts providing street venues, in unique settings in Jerusalem, to celebrate the richness of its diversity. Over time, this festival has emerged as a meeting place for artists, art enthusiasts and lovers of Jerusalem from every quarter. We will hear music from the Jerusalem Orchestra East & West. Over the past decade, a group of artists from east and west Jerusalem have reimagined the city as not merely a center of conflict, but rather a canvas of creativity for multiple generations. This blended music program will include selections of musical styles from around the world. Lastly, Vertigo Dance Company will share its inspiring performance Phoenix as a symbol of hope for the coming new year.
